Scotland to Remain
Fluoride-Free
The
First Minister of the Scottish Parliament has advised Parliament that
fluoride will not be added to Scotland s water supply.
Mr.
McConnell advised parliament that "I wish to confirm that, having listened
to the views expressed, we will not be changing the current legislation on
fluoridation." He advised that other measures would be introduced to improve
the dental health of children, particularly in their early years.
The
Medical Research Council recommended further research.
The
decision was welcomed by LibDem MSP Nora Radcliffe, stating, "We have long
opposed the adding of fluoride to the public water supply, which is why I
warmly welcome the decision to leave the law as it is and rule out the
fluoridation of our water supply." (Scottish Daily Mail, 19 November, 2004.)
The Fluoridation House of Straw
Built on an Evil Principle of Scientific
Propaganda and Breathless Politicians unwilling to puff (on behalf of their
electorate) and blow the straw house down.
Consider all Parliaments including of
course their politicians who make up the "Honest Governments of Australia",
based on the Australian Constitution, the Law and Human Rights in a
Democratic Country also an understanding of real medical science.
Together with all Health Organisations, the
A.M.A., A.D.A., Federal and state Health Departments and Universities, all
agree that at least 10% of children will suffer "dental fluorosis" commonly
called "mottled teeth" - discoloured and damaged teeth in various degrees of
fluoride poisoning.
(Tasmanian Royal Commission etc. The U.K.
Government Review of Fluoridation found 48% of children suffered dental
fluorosis, York Review 2000.)
What damaged and discoloured children's
white healthy teeth?
Often dentists and Health Departments
mislead the people by claiming other drugs can cause mottled teeth, but in a
very particular manner they just say "mottled teeth" being careful not to
mention the real culprit - Fluoride in water and toothpaste.
The above Government way of describing
dental fluorosis propagandisticallv promotes their unproven claim that
"fluoridation is perfectly safe and no person shall be harmed by drinking
fluoride polluted drinking water", caused ONLY by Government Law and Action.
In 1996, the Prime Minister of Australia,
Mr John Howard, on taking over the role of Prime Minister, said he would
like Australians to eventually feel "comfortable and relaxed about their
heritage and future."
The 2004 insurgence of new identities into
the anti-fluoridation movement, financially supported and all expenses paid
by Australian people, some "too poor" to pay their subscription ($25) to
this Federation, created more harm than good. This is especially noticeable
in the agreement by many local councils to artificially fluoridate their
water supplies in centres where these new identities became involved.
We are on a salvage mission, a mess that
should not have happened, a call, after the horse has bolted. Our postal
costs on sending requested literature to concerned country residents was
over $450 in just a few weeks, that is postage only.
Splinter groups have no effective future.
In times of trouble normal people know only
too well that "United we stand, divided we fall", but these new splinter
groups are obviously ignorant of this important maxim.
The original anti-fluoridation
organisations in Australia, including Aqua Pura, later called "The
Australian Fluoridation News", have serviced Australia for the past 40
years, representing all Australian people opposed to compulsory
fluoridation.
Our organisation has been the original Path
Finder of fluoridation invasion around Australia, supplying scientific data,
lectures and debates that kept fluoridation virtually confined to capital
cities of Australia, excluding fluoride-free Brisbane, where we also worked
against its introduction.
Our associations do not release our mailing
lists to other groups or seek support from our supporters for any purpose or
any charity except the campaign opposing artificial fluoridation of public
drinking water supplies.
Although today faced with foreign organised
splinter groups, our membership has continued and our service to the
Australian population is running at a high level of activity.
The fluoridation promoters have no
splinter groups, they are well organised with central headquarters laughing
at our divisions in thought and action.
Our assurance goes out to all our members
and friends throughout Australia guaranteeing the same help sponsored by us
as has been provided over the last 40 years.
Our best wishes to all for the New Year
2005.
INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS
The rights of the individual vis a vis
the state.
Statement of the Supreme Court, USA, in the
case of Loan Association v Topeka, Wallace's Reports, 20, 655-633.
"It must be conceded that there are such
rights in every free government beyond the control of the State. A
government which recognises no such rights, which held the lives, the
liberty and the property of its citizens, subject at all times to the
absolute disposition of even the most democratic depository of power, is
after all but a despotism. It is true it is a despotism of the many, of the
majority if you choose to call it so, but it is none the less a despotism.
It may well be doubted if a man is to hold all that he is accustomed to call
his own, all in which he has placed his happiness, and the security of which
is essential to that happiness, under the unlimited domination of others,
whether it is not wiser that this power should be exercised by one man than
by many.
The theory of our governments, state and
national, is opposed to the deposit of unlimited power anywhere. The
executive, the legislative and the judicial branches of these governments
are all of limited and defined powers.
There are reservations on such power
which grow out of the essential nature of all free governments - implied
reservations of individual rights, without which the social compact could
not exist and which are respected by all governments entitled to the name."
Quoted in Fluoridation - Its Moral and
Political Aspects, a New and Comprehensive Study, by F.B. Exner, M.D.
Seattle, Washington, 1960.
