Sir Edward Dunlop A.C., C.M.C., O.B.E. 1907-1993.
When people pass this
statue of Sir Edward Dunlop in view of all passing traffic in St. Kilda
Road, beautifully situated in King's Domain Gardens, they reflect on the
greatness of this man. He was a hero of the infamous Japanese Prisoner of
War Camps in Burma, acting as a Doctor, and referred to by Australian
prisoners of War as, "the Christ of Burma Road".
One of his fellow prisoners
wrote:
"When despair and
death reached for us, he stood fast, his only thought our well-being.
Faced with guards who had the power of life and death, ignoble tyrants who
hated us, he was a lighthouse of sanity in a universe of madness and
suffering."
Sir Edward was held in
great world scientific and medical esteem, not only in Australia, but
throughout the world. On a recent visit to his statue, the memories flooded
back to Sir Edward's support of our Anti-Fluoridation Movement in Australia.
Sir Edward's Knighthood was
presented for his extraordinary feats of surgery under the ultra-primitive
conditions of the Burma Railway, and his leadership which was responsible
for lifting the morale of Australian prisoners, a monumental feat
considering the Japanese camp guards, whose behaviour is described in "Weary
Dunlop's Diaries".
His diaries, written at the
risk of death by the Japanese guards, are published in "The War Diaries of
Weary Dunlop, Java and Burma-Thailand Railway 1942-1945".
Sir Edward stood on the
platform of the Melbourne Town Hall, June 1975 and delivered a Paper against
Fluoridation.
A few quotes from his
speech, and his constant support of our organisation prompt us to once again
pay homage to this great gentleman. He stated:
"Some early enthusiasm
arising from the dental beliefs has been replaced by doubts in many
countries.
Objection to
fluoridation on scientific grounds has been based on various points. The
one about which I am most personally informed is the incidence of toxic
fluorosis, especially in the skeleton.
Crippling deformities
of the skeleton due to fluoride toxicity such as 'forward bending'.
'stiffness of the spine', 'reduced mobility of the chest', and 'sprouts on
the bone; have been reported from different parts of the world.
These great
abnormalities which I have personally seen raise the question, is
fluoridation of water really safe? This question is all the more
disturbing when one notes the fact that in areas of endemic fluorosis,
serious effects are much more common after 40 years of exposure - in other
words, there is a slow and subtle process in which fluoride, once put into
the body, is hard to get out.
The fact that
lesser degrees of skeletal fluorosis are closely parallel to those of
rheumatic diseases lessens the alertness of doctors.
Cases of kidney
disease are of special risk, due to poor elimination of fluoride and
consideration of thirst.
The water supply is
not a good medium for delivery of a precise dose of a medication to the
individual. We may have to think again. Perhaps it would be better to do
so now."
The world Anti Fluoridation
Movement is so "important" that our work is censored by most world media
which has no expertise in fluoridation, but act in unison throughout most
Countries of the world, States and Towns, banning information about
fluoridation effects on people.
Yes, we are real
"important" identities where democracy, honesty, science and even compassion
is publicly banned in the name of fluoride chemical sales.
Fluoridation is what our
masters decided for us!
An official example
of utter stupidity.
Perhaps the reason for such
serious action is that people living in what is called a democratic country,
are so smug, they suffer indifferences, naivety and extreme apathy,
generated by political machinations, and the mighty dollar over-riding all
problems, not necessary in the interests and rights of the people.
The example:
The World Health
Organisation sets the rules, but then recommends everyone else to disagree
with their rules because W.H.O., the fluoride lobby, and your Parliament of
authority and trust, do not know the daily dose of poisonous fluoride
ingestion per person anywhere in the world. W.H.O. state in their
publication "Fluorine and Fluorides 1984":-
Fluoride illustrates
strikingly the classical medical concept that the effect of a substance
depends on the dose. Paracelsus said:
'All substances are
poisons, there is none which is not a poison. The right dose
differentiates a poison and a remedy'." ("Fluorine and Fluorides" p.9)
Clearly, as the dose is
not known, the substance (fluoride) can and does become a poison. But
who cares, there is great profit from this particular poisonous waste
by-product of industry via many surprising directions.
The story of the Fluoride
Tooth Fairy has long disappeared, we are fighting the mighty dollars in
large slabs, divided many times but still remains in large slabs with plenty
to spare (on certain conditions, not necessarily in our standards of honest
science).
We must remember the people
of quality, who devoted their scientific understanding in exposing the
fraudulent concept of compulsory fluoridation.
Theirs were not for glory,
ego, income, indeed the exact opposite occurred, but truth is infinite, God
given, and cannot be erased with money, personal abuse, or political
convoluted gobbledegook in the name of a Phantom commercial health project.
You should not shirk the
issue, remember, "The power of one is to do something."
However, your approach to
this failed fluoridation concept should be directed at its promoters with
"Zero Tolerance" for misleading the community.
The Anzac Spirit
Record crowds gathered
across Australia on 25 April 2000 to pay tribute to the original Anzac
spirit, the sacrifice of the Anzacs and later generations of Australian and
New Zealand service men and women in the fight for justice and freedom.
At a solemn Gallipoli dawn
service, over 10,000 people gathered, with similar numbers at Sydney's
Martin Place Cenotaph for the 4.30 am dawn service. Later, over 150,000
people watched as 20,000 marchers moved through Sydney's streets.
Yet for millions of
Australians, the freedom which we apparently enjoy, and for which so many
sacrificed their lives, has been lost by stealth. The dictatorship of
compulsory artificial fluoridation of public drinking water supplies extends
by decree, not only to the public, but ironically to the water supplies used
by service personnel.
Like the eternal flame, the
Anzac spirit continues to live in Australian citizens. The fight against
artificial fluoridation of drinking water supplies is an example of the
continuing need for this spirit. As adverse evidence against fluorides
continues to grow, and when sufficient people rally, the war against
fluoridation will end.
