International Year of Freshwater 2003
The Federal Parliament proudly announced:
"The availability of freshwater for human
consumption, agricultural production and ecosystem health is of vital
importance to all Australians, and that proclamation, of 2003 as the
International Year of Freshwater by the United Nations General Assembly,
will provide valuable opportunities for Australian communities to learn
about and become more involved in freshwater issues."
That statement (propaganda) draws attention to
the FACT that the greatest polluters of Australian drinking water supplies
are THE GOVERNMENTS OF AUSTRALIA themselves.
Fancy telling us we need to LEARN ABOUT and
BECOME MORE INVOLVED. The Anti-Fluoridation groups throughout Australia have
been in the opposite direction, because over 50 years, they have attempted
to educate Parliaments (politicians) about polluting good drinking water
supplies.
The Oxford dictionary describes POLLUTE as:
"Destroy the purity or sanctity, make water
foul or filthy."
Consider for yourself, the action of Victorian
Government's handling of Melbourne's excellent natural drinking water
supplies, and the politicians observation of the meaning of "sanctity and
purify."
To excellent drinking water supplies the
Government by LAW add to this excellent water the following annual amounts
of pollution.
Each chemical is, as known in the chemical
industry, crude, industrial, unrefined,_and not a-registered chemical for
human use. (US.FDA)
(1) Fluoride 1030 tonnes per annum
(2) Lime (Builders quality) 2070 tonnes per
annum
(3) Alum, Aluminium Sulphate 1750 tonnes per
annum
(4) Chloride 550 tonnes per annum
(5) Sodium Hydrochloride 250 tonnes per annum
(6) Ammonia 8 kilolitres per annum
Minister for Science
and Conservation, October 2000.
In total the Government purposely adds at
least 5650 tonnes of polluting chemicals to Melbourne drinking water
supplies.
Alum - Removed from Sydney water 1994.
Suspected of causing Alzheimers Disease.
Chlorine - Suspected of causing Cancer.
(N.S.W. Health Bulletin June 1995).
Lime - A crude industrial quality (no
chemical analysis available).
Fluoride - Has been named as causing
cancer in animal studies (NTP 1990) U.S. New Jersey Health Department 1994,
Burk and Yiamouyiannis studies upheld in Court.
There are no scientific studies proving
fluoride chemicals as used in fluoridation are safe for humans. (U.S.
Congress Report on FDA and EPA).
The greatest polluters of Australian
drinking water supplies are the Governments of Australia
There is no evidence of scientific studies
proving fluoridation safe and effective (FDA - EPA).
Is there proof that international countries
ban pollution of their drinking water with fluoridation plants?
There is no Universal fluoridation in
scientifically advanced European countries and their children's teeth are of
very good quality.
Hawaii bans fluoride
Other countries taking political evasive
action against fluoridation.
Hawaii, a U.S. State, has been pressured by
the Washington fluoridation Gurus to pollute their excellent quality water.
Fluoridation in the past has always been
defeated in Hawaii but the U.S. Government never recognises a RED FLAG
hoisted against mass medication with polluting chemicals.
The rumbles in Washington will be felt
throughout the U.S. when news reaches the mainland telling them the
Hawaii Senate and House Committee have approved a BILL to "Ban additives
(fluoride) to Hawaii's drinking water."
One Representative put the question in clear
factual terms:
"Don't tamper with Hawaii's water. It's
pure, it's healthy and leave it alone."
The BILL titled, "Relating to Water Supplies",
states:
"No person shall place additives into
public drinking water supplies to, 'treat or affect the physical, or mental
functions of the body of any person, rather than make water safe and
potable."
Senate Chairwoman, Water, Land and
Agriculture, in her report, stated,
"The Bill would free Hawaii from periodic
threats of mandatory community fluoridation which has been occurring since
the 1950's." (Data from Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Hawaii News, 3rd February,
2003.)
We wish them well and congratulations for
having politicians, who acknowledge truth about fluoridation and act
accordingly, demonstrating that rare quality of leadership, honesty and
commonsense on behalf of "the people" in a true democratic manner.
The reason for the Hawaiian action is
confirmed by the U.S. National Toxicology Program, 5th June, 2002. U.S.
Federal Register, 12th June, 2002.
"Substances nominated to the NTP for
Toxicological Studies and Recommendations made the ICCEC on April 17, 2002."
Hexafluorosilicate
Primary agents used to fluoridate public
drinking water systems; lack of toxicity information; assumed complete
dissociation to free fluoride under normal conditions of use not supported
by experimental evidence."
"Recommendations for toxicological
studies
Chemical characterization studies to assess
chemical fate under aqueous conditions.
Toxicological studies may be considered
when results of chemical characterization studies are available for review."
Another example, one of thousands during the
past 60 years, questioning the intellectually dishonest science of
fluoridation and its grossly immoral and extravagant claims by politicians,
doctors, dentists, universities and, above all, parliaments where honesty
and democracy should emanate in transparent certainty on behalf of "the will
of the people" and indeed reflecting true science.
Fluoride compounds are recovered pollutants
from phosphate fertiliser industries, contaminated with arsenic, lead,
mercury and as of today no Government in the world including Australia has
performed proper scientific studies to prove these fluoride chemicals in
water are safe for humans.
Fluoridation is a dangerous scientific
pretender.
