THE REAL STORY OF FLUORIDATION
Fluoridation started as a
commercial project and has remained in that exact situation ever since. It
has nothing to do with teeth.
All the promises about
fluoridation are political jargon far removed from professional science.
The wealth and power of
fluoride commercialism has attempted to alter the basics of chemistry by
changing, in their world of science, a dangerous poisonous fluoride chemical
into a perfectly desirable and harmless product. Some even promote the myth
that life could not exist without its daily ingestion.
Millions have been spent on
50 years fluoridation and fluoride promotion, and millions more directly and
indirectly, but its 'shonky' beginning always overshadows its poor world
progress. No more than 4% of the world's population use fluoridation.
Success, only by money, power, without true science, is short-term
gobble-de-gook politics, but glorified by politicians world-wide.
Changes in fluoridation
claims and policies have been dramatic, mostly dramatised by dentists and
politicians, whose scientific reputations are in tatters over the science of
fluoridation, but they are "encouraged" to continue the fight for
their lost cause.
From its very beginning,
fluoridation has existed only on exaggerated claims that fail with public
scientific scrutiny.
The fluoride promoters
think-tank, produce unscientific counters to any public revelations of their
false claims and scientific fraud.
They have a strange and
serious mind-set on fluoridation, and somehow believe their ignorance is
quite safe, and think it is a similar ignorance to the population, thus
making their claims scientifically authentic. That is not so, the public are
quite aware of political fluoridation machinations, and mentally record that
political behaviour. The day of reckoning will arrive.
Fluoridation was
dogmatically, internationally and locally promised, to stop tooth decay
by at least 60%, sometimes the claims in Australia by politicians
increased that to 90%.
The N.H. and M.R.C. in
their 1991 Report on Fluoridation, suggested new improvement data of
approximately 20-40%, but protected their "expert scientific intellect" by
stating:
"This estimate
(20-40%) is inherently imprecise because of limited data available."
(in other words, they have nothing on which to make any claims.)
"The reduction in caries
in permanent teeth in children is likely to be towards the lower end of that
range." (20%)
Note their scientific
terminology. Their claims are based, "on imprecise data", "likely
to be towards the lower end of the range"! The science of
fluoridation by Australia's leading responsible fluoridation promoters
explicitly states their "science" is built on "inherently imprecise limited
data".
The important U.S.
Government Survey of 30,000 children in 84 areas, when examined, showed no
difference between these thousands of children in fluoridated and
non-fluoridated areas.
As the original
fluoridation unconditional promise to the world is false, then everything
built on that false foundation has no scientific or moral respectability.
Fluoridation was the great
panacea of modern medicine, dentistry and Government Health Departments, but
their original promises to the population were false and unscientific.
Fluoridation has been
propped up since its inception by not only false Government public
advertising, but the introduction of School Dental Clinics to treat
children's teeth, teeth supposed to be automatically free of all decay
because of fluoridation.
The great commercial
enterprise of fluoride toothpaste
Then came the great
commercial enterprise of fluoride toothpaste, the world's greatest money
spinner of all time. Were the fluoride toothpaste claims of safety honest?
Were the television
advertisements an honest, safe recommendation for children using fluoride
toothpaste?
Fluoride toothpaste was
endorsed by the A.D.A., A.M.A., N.H. and M.R.C., all Australian Government
Health Departments, School Dental Clinics, together with the dental
industry, especially through the University Dental Schools.
To encourage children to
"like" fluoride toothpaste, it was flavoured, making it more like a
confectionery. Children loved it and literally ate it with relish.
Then came the fluoride
bombshell.
Children suffering
fluoride poisoning from fluoride toothpaste with "unaccountable" sickness,
began to appear in epidemic proportions, mottled teeth, "fluoride
poisoning". The N.H. and M.R.C. stated in their 1991 research into
fluoridation that mottled teeth were the first sign of fluoride poisoning!
Questions began to be asked
by parents as to why and how their children had mottled teeth.
Panic began in Health
Departments, resulting in suggestions that the fluoride content in fluoride
toothpaste should be reduced by 50% for children, half the original
formula that had been promoted by all the dental and medical experts, with
Government approval and displayed on TV.
There were also, quiet,
indeed very quiet suggestions that "flavoured" fluoride toothpaste should be
removed, not to stop tooth decay, but to stop children swallowing flavoured
poisonous fluoride, causing mottled teeth, which in reality was "killing
the enamel cells in children's teeth" and causing embarrassing
disfigurement to their appearance.
That change was promoted as
a great credit (sic) to the dental health practitioners; but the amount of
mottling did not stop, there was no apology or explanation such as "we
are sorry, or we are responsible", but panic to again readjust the dose
of fluoride literally pushed onto children by the fluoride medical and
dental experts.
The TV presentations
advertising fluoride toothpaste, with total length brush loads, should now
be reduced to "only a pea size" amount on the brush, shouted the
fluoride promoters.
To rational thinking adults
in privileged professional positions and politicians supposedly protecting
the community health, one would expect an urgent independent inquiry into
such a health problem, and discover from where all that dangerous health
misinformation was generated.
But not a word from the
"Dental experts" or your friendly politician or indeed any medical authority
in the land.
However, there is more!
The prudent suggestion from
the dental "experts" is that now "only a smear of fluoride toothpaste on
the toothbrush should be used by young children", "a smear" compared
with 2 inches in the past!
Claims of reduction
in tooth decay are based "on imprecise data" (N.H. & M.R.C. Report on
Fluoridation)
Surely this is a real
health scandal, when the same people guaranteeing fluoridation and fluoride
as a perfectly safe material for all, especially children, now recommend
the fluoride content entering children's mouths be reduced by 99%.
That surely qualifies
fluoride as a dangerous chemical for humans and especially children, but
no accountability requested by Government!
None of the above
qualifies for medical, dental or political accountability because
commercialism reigns supreme and democracy set aside.
Another prop for
public fluoridation
Fluoride was losing public
acceptance, and in another prop for public fluoridation, the fluoride
medical experts announced fluoride as a cure for osteoporosis.
Doctors around the world
started prescribing fluoride tablets as a cure for osteoporosis, but like
fluoride toothpaste, the time cycle proved fluoride not able to cure
osteoporosis, but indeed damaged bones and the body in general.
It lost medical world
approval, but no accountability for damage to humans involved or the
Government showing any interest!
The dental industry thought
fluoridation would elevate them up amongst elite scientists, but it will
never occur on "their" scientific basis and endorsement of poisonous
fluoride chemicals for humans.
However, an international
article in a world-wide journal recently announced, "Dentists today are
physicians, they have become experts on human disease and are saving lives."
They have reached their pinnacle of excellence!
The latest data published
by the Australian dental industry indicates 75% of Australians are
suffering gum disease, which supposedly was impossible after
fluoridation and everyone's perfect teeth. The latest dental literature
warns dentists not to irrigate diseased gums with fluoride solutions
because it can damage the gums and increase the serious problem.
High Tooth Decay
Levels
The great fluoride
propaganda has almost collapsed with Australian public announcement in the
media, July 1999, that - "Tooth Decay Levels are High".
The press reported,
Professor John Spencer, Dental Researcher, University of Adelaide, stated:
"The dental profession
and the community must recognise that caries (decay) is not a disappearing
disease. Caries remain one of the most widespread diseases in the
community." (Herald-Sun 11th July, 1999)
Is fluoride a harmless
chemical? Window cleaners in the Melbourne business area are reporting
pitting of window glass. That indicates acid rain with fluorides, so we are
swamped with the stuff in every direction of our lives, but nobody in
authority seems to care and no accountability suggested.
Can any honest scientist or
politician give fluoride a "clean sheet" and promote it harmless, as used in
industry, medicine, dentistry, and compulsory fluoridation for human
consumption?
Fluoride chemicals are not
only potent poisons, they are the foundation of chemical war weapons, nerve
gas formulations.
Fluoride chemicals are so
dangerous in their final possible use that export of sodium fluoride and
potassium fluoride to particular countries is prohibited from the U.S.A.
without proper export approval.
Perhaps the most informed
company, with a history of fluoride chemicals, is the original Alcoa U.S.A.,
and yet in August this year 1999, Alcoa was fined $1,000,000, guilty of 100
violations of the U.S., Export Administration Regulations, and paid a civil
penalty of $10,000 per violation, but no criminal charge!
In most States of
Australia, fluoride emissions from factories, aluminium smelters, brick and
tile works, steel and other metal smelters, petrochemical factories and many
others are recorded as causing serious problems.
In most cases the community
fight has not only been against the polluter, but the relative Government,
Federal, State or Local (Councils) where fluoride is the protected
pollutant. That history has been published for many years in The
Australian Fluoridation News.
The dental industry is in
reality ambivalent, depending on its commercial angle, its scientific
standing, and indeed its income from particular directions.
The latest dental news is
the creation of a new toothbrush, obviously "to stop tooth decay". The
fluoride toothpaste company Oral-B advise they have spent $110,000,000 in
developing their new toothbrush that removes, they say, "significantly more
plaque ..." but fluoride in toothpaste and public drinking water supplies
stops plaque, as told by the original promoters in our Parliaments.
With all the 50 years of
fluoride propaganda, University teaching, medical organisations, Parliaments
and unlimited wealth of fluoride product producers, collectively they cannot
control the daily dose of fluoride for any one person, so a fluoride dose is
Russian Roulette!
The final word of expert
opinion on fluoridation is made by Mr Rob Knowles, Minister of Health,
Victorian Parliament, when on 7th November, 1996 he wrote:
"The 1991 N.H. and
M.R.C. Report on the Effectiveness of Fluoridation is still considered to
be the definitive document on water fluoridation in Australia."
(Definitive - decisive, final).
A staunch advocate of
fluoridation, Dr Fanning, Adelaide University, advising on "correct dose"
stated:
"When fluoride is
taken in tablet form by the mother in one daily dose, not all this
fluoride passes into the breast milk, and the breast fed child, too, must
receive a daily fluoride supplement. The best way is to dissolve a quarter
tablet in a spoonful of water and place this directly in the child's
mouth."
Advising on "dose" Dr
Fanning stated, either fluoridated water or tablet supplement, "will
provide the correct amount of fluoride to prevent tooth decay."
That is dental authority,
but truly unscientific.
Fluoridation is "the dream
of dreamers, scheme of schemers," and the most unscientific human project
ever hoisted on people, against their wish, and indeed against the
principles of society and medicine, so simple to understand except those
with "wide shut eyes".
Fluoridation is fraught
with danger, danger to those forced into ingesting the poison fluoride
chemical every day of their life, and fraught with danger to those opposing
the mighty fluoride industry, made up of the seen and mostly unseen
controllers, living off the chemical and medical myth.
