Press Release 007
#007
26th January 2001. For immediate release.
TOOTH DECAY RAMPANT IN FLUORIDATED BIRMINGHAM WARD
- GOVERNMENT / HEALTH AUTHORITY TO 'THROW' £57,000 AT DENTAL HEALTH
PROBLEM.
- YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE ADDED COST OF WATER FLUORIDATION.
The following statement was today published on the West Midland Teletext
service [approx. 2-30 pm, page 339];-
BEGIN.
NHS dental services in the Nechells area of Birmingham have received a
£57,000 funding boost.
Birmingham Health Authority said the grant, part of the Government Investing
in Dentistry initiative, would address the problem of poor dental health.
Public health dental consultant Ross Hamburger said 40% of five-year-olds in
the ward had "active dental decay".
END.
Pro-fluoridation campaigners regularly rely upon contrived and bad
quality evidence to promote their claims and the above statement is a
further indictment of such claims, as well as the practice of water
fluoridation.
For too long, a small cabal of public health officials, politicians and
dentists, etc., have been telling the public at large that water
fluoridation is a safe and effective means of controlling tooth decay.
Today's revelation takes yet another step towards exposing the real facts
about water fluoridation.
THE MESSAGE IS STONG AND CLEAR: WATER
FLUORIDATION IS THE GREATEST MEDICAL FRAUD.
